ST:EQ E-Bar

Recommended Posts

The Starfleet HQ E-Bar is located two blocks south of Star Fleet Academy. It is often frequented by Academy Cadets and officers awaiting assignment. Like the original E-Bar, bartenders come and go, just as the cadets and officers come and go. All drinks are free for cadets and officers, subsidized by the Equilism Royal Families of Chaucerin and Westwind. Generous supplies of Scotch, Crimson and Spiced Crimson rum, have been donated by the Royal families. Our replicators are of the finest available, built with Vulcan logic circuitry to produce the most accurate drinks in the known ST:EQ Universe.

The ST:EQ E-Bar is now open.

Lt. T'char entered, having completed his final internship assignment. He had been assisgned to the USS Nooterland to observe and assist the Ship's Counselor. It had been an interesting assignment, and T'Char appreciated the experience. Now, he had orders to join the crew of the USS Equilism, to serve as Ship's Councelor. Rather than reflect on that future, he fell into a habitual routine. Observe.

Having quickly scanned the E-bar, T'char found a seat along the 'L' of the bar, that provided a good place to observe as much of the room as possible.

He was glad that this section of the E-bar was set to a dimmer lighting, it was more naturally comfortable to him.

It has been a while since Redge had been on Earth. He had been in the Delta Quadrant for almost 9 years as he was stationed at Kemaris Station. Now he'd returned to give some lectures at Starfleet Academy. Now he had some time off and went to the (to him) newly opened E-bar. As he entered he gave the E-bar a quick glance and then walked over to the bar to order a Scotch.

T'char examined a mini-holo display of the original E-Bar of Equilism, while casually watching the patrons come and go and enjoy themselves. There was an organized chaos in the efficiency of the bar wait staff, a kind of subconscious harmony among them, as they delivered true Scotch and Rum and custom food orders from the kitchen. Replicator synths were conveniently placed for other drink and food orders.

He recalled a memory he once shared of a fine Bloodwine served in the E-Bar. He'd never actually tried Bloodwine before, but with that memory, he figured it was about time to do so and placed his order.
