Equilism _ News _ A Founder Announcement, take 2

There are two appointments for which the Founder is responsible - first, the appointment of a co-Founder, and second, the appointment of the Regional Advocate.

While the sort of cooperation West and I had envisioned is unconstitutional, Westwind remains my choice for co-Founder (to the limits implied by the Constitution).

But secondly, there is the matter of the Regional Advocate, the member of our region who is responsible for tracking and reporting on regional precedent and the constitutionality of our acts and legislation. While we have a number of very qualified candidates, many of whom have privately expressed an interest in the position, one person in particular stood out thanks to his work with regional law in the recent past.

Tarlisea has already undertaken duties essential to good legislative practice in the region, through his voluntary creation and maintenance of the Equilism http://www.equilism.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=9069. He has less experience in the judiciary of Equilism than some of our other members, but what he lacks in (in-game) experience he has more than made up for by his diligence in critiquing and updating our legislative record. This appointment is made, as per the Constitution, for a period of one year.

Congrats Tarl, and thank you for your hard work in the Judiciary !

And thank you Nai for your appointment as Co-Founder. I also confirm to the region that I have been provided with the founder password for use in the event of the region's need as defined by the Constitution.
